Welcome to the website of Drs. Deborah and Steven Hendlin, Licensed Clinical Psychologists. Our offices are located at 230 Newport Center Drive, Suite 220, in Newport Beach, California. We may be reached at (949) 644-7707. We have been happily married for over 28 years, so we are able to help couples and individuals dealing with relationship issues from our own successful experience together. We each conduct our own separate practice but refer to each other when appropriate. Steven writes a monthly column for COAST Magazine, the first appearing in the July, 2005 issue. The column borrows the "Shrink Rap" kicker from his earlier successful weekly column for TheStreet.com. But rather than focusing on the psychology of investing, the new "Shrink Rap" broadly addresses psychological issues and offers commentary relevant to the COAST readership. COAST is a widely distributed monthly lifestyle magazine with a readership of over 100,000. You may read examples of the column under the "Articles" section of this site and find the latest edition of COAST at coastmagazine.com. He is also writing a column for Backspace (www.bksp.org), a site for serious writers, on the psychological and emotional concerns facing writers who are or hope to be published. This column is entitled Your Write Mind. These articles may be accessed through the Backspace home page. Steven was elected to Fellow status of the American Psychological Association in August, 2007.
